The duties of a septic pump truck driver include transporting, loading, and unloading equipment and providing pumping service for septic tanks. As a septic pump truck driver, you typically drive a preset route and service septic tank clients on that route. During pumping, you may use special cameras to inspect the septic system for leaks and wear-and-tear. You may also need to check ventilation systems.

General work assisting the plumber including site preparation and clearance, and maintaining general site tidiness and assisting as directed by the plumber.

Performing tasks as directed by the plumber to include assisting in working on plumbing systems. This will include assisting with installations, inspections, diagnosing problems/faults/leaks, testing, repair and maintenance of pipes, fixtures and other water and plumbing systems used anywhere for water distribution and waste disposal

We are looking for an experienced Plumber to install, maintain and repair sanitation units, water and gas supply lines, and associated fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial structures.

Responsibilities:
You will be required to design and inspect plumbing systems, perform diagnostics, and ensure they comply with regulatory codes.
Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.
Sewer and drain cleaning.
Fitting and repairing various household appliances.
Cutting, soldering, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.
Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
Handling customer queries and responding to call-outs.
Troubleshooting and resolving problems.
Preparing cost estimates.
Troubleshooting pumps.

Qualifications:
Able to work independently.
Solve problems as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Must have strong technical skills.
Master at troubleshooting.
Enjoy dealing with people.
Must be experienced in sewer and drain cleaning and work independently.
Knowledge with flat-rate pricing a plus.

Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a Plumber.
Good working knowledge of water supply and ventilation systems.
Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
Good listening and communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills and patience.
Physical dexterity.
Experience with flat-rate pricing.

Daniel Devlin founded Speedy-Rooter Plumbing of Charlottesville, Virginia in 1996.

As a family-owned and operated business serving Central Virginia and the surrounding areas, Speedy-Rooter earned the reputation as a plumbing repair company that handles the problem on the first call.

Danny first became involved in the plumbing industry in 1984 in a small college town in southern California. He quickly immersed himself in residential and commercial repair plumbing, as well as remodel and construction plumbing.

Danny’s first business was known as “the company who would solve the problem that no one else could solve.” Management insisted that the plumbers think through the plumbing problems they encountered first and focus on getting the jobs done right. If they didn’t, they would go back to the job on their own time to take care of the customer’s concerns.

That early experience in Danny’s plumbing career colored his philosophy of service and repair plumbing. In 1988, a 600-bed hospital in Santa Barbara hired Danny to lead their crew of plumbers. There he honed his skills as a problem solver and gained a reputation for exemplary skills.
