Better late than never! We're excited to finally spotlight the completed USD 443 Dodge City High School Weight Room & Bowling Addition.

As the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), Building Solutions was honored to partner with and to bring this 17,300 SF addition to life, delivered on time and within budget in 2025.

Constructing this addition alongside an active school campus required careful planning, constant communication, and strong collaboration among the owner, architect, trade partners, and specialty vendors. Through the CMAR process, our team helped guide the project from preconstruction through completion while maintaining the district's schedule, budget, and vision.

We're proud to have played a role in creating spaces that support the next generation of Red Demon student-athletes, building on our longstanding partnership with USD 443 and continuing our commitment to educational excellence across western Kansas.

Good morning, DC3. Today we officially wrap up Phase 1 of the Burke Drive project and begin Phase 2.

Phase 2 includes the reconstruction of Burke Drive from the Main Campus Entrance to the Main Campus Exit and will bring a change to the current traffic detour. This is the second phase of a three phase project and is expected to last approximately five weeks.

During this time, the main campus exit off 14th Ave (south drive) will temporarily operate as a two way street and will serve as both the entrance and exit to campus.

Thank you for your patience as improvements continue!

Phase 2 of the Burke Drive replacement project begins tomorrow, May 26. Drivers should use extra caution when entering campus from the 14th Avenue exit. To help improve traffic flow, use the bypass entrance behind campus whenever possible.
