Apparently, putting something on the calendar and telling your husband something is on the calendar are two completely different forms of communication. 😂

👨 Chris: “Nobody told me!”

👩 Me: “It’s been on the calendar since Tuesday.”

👨 Chris: “Well, nobody told me to LOOK at the calendar.”

🐶 Duke: “I knew about it.”

At this point, Duke may be our most informed employee. 😂🐾

There are apparently different definitions of “done” when you own a business together. 😂

👨 Chris: “I’m done.”

👩 Me: “Perfect! We still have invoices, tomorrow’s schedule, permits, payroll and a couple calls to return.”

👨 Chris: “No. I’m FIELD done.”

Meanwhile...

🐶 Duke: “I’ve been done since 10:30.”

And somehow Duke is still Employee of the Month. 🤷‍♀️🐾😂

Around here, a “busy day” looks a little different depending on who you ask. 😂
👨 Chris: Wiring panels, running service calls, keeping the guys moving and getting the work done.
👩 Me: Answering phones, scheduling jobs, handling permits, sending invoices, ordering materials…and figuring out where everyone needs to be tomorrow. 😅
🐶 Duke: Moved from his bed to the floor and back again.
Exhausting. Someone get that dog a raise. 😂🐾
Three different jobs. One very busy company.
