Yesterday marked the 18th stop of our Food Truck Tour this season!

We headed over to our partners at Otter Tail Power Company’s Coyote Station and served nearly 70 Philly Cheesesteaks. It was a quick lunch service, but one we’re extremely proud of. We’ve been working with Otter Tail for decades, helping with their fly ash hauling, so it was great to bring lunch to the Coyote Station crew and spend some time with them.

We appreciate the continued partnership and the chance to give back in a small way. Thanks to everyone at Coyote for having us!

Yesterday, our President, Glenn Baranko, and his wife had the privilege of attending a special event at the Southwest Area CTE Academy with U.S. Department of Education Secretary Linda McMahon, who was visiting North Dakota as part of her "Returning Education to the States" Tour. She was also joined by Lt. Governor Michelle Strinden and Assistant Secretary Kirsten Baesler, who served as North Dakota’s Superintendent of Public Instruction for more than a decade.

At the event, Glenn was honored to participate in a roundtable discussion with students, educators, industry partners, elected officials, and community leaders. The roundtable provided an opportunity to showcase to our nation’s leaders how the SWCTE is helping to address workforce needs across western North Dakota by connecting students with hands-on learning and career pathways available here in our region. The conversation also highlighted the impact of career and technical education and the incredible work being done at the SWCTE to equip students for success.

We’re extremely proud to have Glenn represent us and be part of such an important conversation about education and workforce development — especially right here in North Dakota! 🇺🇸👏

A lot of dirt moving and pipe work took place across our job sites over these past two weeks of August. 🚧 Here’s a quick look at what has been completed and what’s still to come at the job sites pictured below:

▪️Dunn County 12th Street is nearing completion, with final grading and dirt work remaining.

▪️On Hwy 85, Phase 1 work will be wrapping up soon, with Phase 2 set to begin shortly. Piping and dirt work will continue throughout the end of this construction season.

▪️On our Hwy 16 project, the pipes pictured were installed and paving was completed last week. This project is expected to be finished, at the latest, by early next week.

This weekend, we attended the Dickinson API Invitational Golf Tournament. This has been our yearly tradition for decades.

On both days, we served our signature biscuits and gravy in the morning and most people's favorite, Chicago dogs, in the afternoon.

Baranko also had 3 of our employees golfing in the first and second flight. We are so grateful to connect with many old and new faces, as well as represent our company to such an amazing community and industry.

Last Friday, our food truck had the pleasure of attending the annual ConocoPhillips Dickinson Charity Golf Scramble at the Heart River Golf Course, where we served sausage croissants, beef tenderloin sandwiches, and zingers! Everything was so well received that we nearly ran out of food. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to see us and grab a bite. We hope you enjoyed the food as much as we enjoyed serving you!

We also had a team participate in the afternoon flight of the tournament, and boy, did they show up in full force -- all rocking our Screaming Eagle polo shirts and Baranko hats! 🦅⛳️

It was a wonderful day filled with great food, good company, and plenty of fun. We were honored to be part of such a meaningful event supporting a great cause!

On Thursday, we had two teams golfing in the 2026 Williston Basin Continental Classic. There were 288 golfers over the course of two flights.

This tournament was in support of The Garrett Houghton GOOD Foundation, which was created for those who have been impacted by medical tragedies or other life-altering events.

Our food truck also served breakfast at the tournament and gave out about 60 biscuit croissants. We then switched over to Philly cheesesteaks, which were a big hit! In total, there were about 170 golfers that we served, and they loved it!

We can't wait to be back next year! ⛳

Last Friday, our team headed out to our Dunn County 12 job site! 🚧

This 3-mile project includes widening the top roads and improving the approaches along the route. We began stripping topsoil in mid-July and are on track to wrap up the entire project during the last week of August.

While we were on site, our pipe crew installed 55 feet of 24-inch corrugated pipe at one of the approaches. It was the second pipe installation of the day, with many more still to come!

Great work by the crew as this project continues to move forward!
