Fun fact of the day:

A house pad isn’t “ready” just because it looks level. Proper compaction means building it in thin lifts, adding the right moisture, and compacting each layer so the pad becomes solid from the bottom up. That’s what helps prevent settling, cracking, and foundation problems later.
