🚧 Progress Update from the Grand Mound Cemetery 🚧

We’ve got a fresh new concrete pad poured and ready to go!

A huge shoutout and special thank you to Brad Maher with Maher Concrete, along with Jim Sprague and Manatt's, for their generous donation of time, materials, and effort to make this happen.

Projects like this don’t come together without strong community support—and we truly appreciate it. This is another big step toward getting the new shed in place to properly store and protect our flag poles.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the Grand Mound American Legion.

I was taking a pic of the job, which happened to be Heilig telling Brad I think it's going to rain. Good thing Heilig was on it, because 20 minutes later it was raining. It's days like today I wish we had a video camera on us. Trying to hold down plastic as the front moves in, and wind picks up, would be a lot funnier to watch after the fact.
