JOB TITLE: CERTIFIED SPRAY TECHNICIAN

We are looking to hire highly motivated self-starters who are organized, have a strong work ethic, can work
independently and have a willingness to learn.

As a w**d and pest control technician, you will:
- Apply appropriate products to treat w**d, insect, disease, and nutritional deficiencies
- Perform pest control applications following guidelines established by Mel's Outdoor Services
- Perform a variety of application types including backpack, granular, and high-volume spray applications
-Use of zero turn mowers, w**d eaters and various other landscaping tools and equipment
- Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and laws/regulations governing pesticide applications
-Document all work performed via application records and daily work logs
-Properly maintain truck and equipment and report any issues in a timely manner

Ideal Candidate:
- Certified and Licensed as a Chemical Applicator for w**ds
- Capacity to problem solve using good judgment and common sense
- Power to prioritize job duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently, including overtime
- Excellent customer service
- Efficient oral and written communication skills
- Communicate effectively with fellow employees and management
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive “teamwork” attitude
- Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. routinely
- Ability to work and walk for long spans of time in Arizona weather
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Knowledge of basic preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and trucks

Employment Requirements:
-Valid Arizona driver's license and a clean driving history

Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed in OPM Categories B1 (Industrial & Institutional) B3 (W**ds) and B5 (Turf and Ornamental)
- Previous sustainable landscape management experience
- Prior landscape and 1 or more years of spray technician experience

Mel's Outdoor Services is in need of a Office/Tech manager, for a pest and w**d control company. This position can be in office in Dewey or be done remotely for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for creating and keeping a route schedule for 3 technicians. Taking phone calls from customers and selling product from the office/store. You must be organized, marketing skills are a plus! Must have positive motivated attitude. Please no drinking or drug issues, no felonies.

I need someone with a very good work ethic, honesty and integrity who will show up and work. Bonus points if you don't mind helping on the weekends and are familiar with pest, w**d and landscaping business..

Customer service is huge to me, customers are your #1 asset in any business. I need someone who can take control, and get it done.

Properly maintain truck and equipment and report any issues in a timely manner
Attends and completes training opportunities.
Complete and submit paperwork and documentation timely and accurately.
Work weekends as required.

-------- In the Office --------
Schedules and reviews routes.
Gains and maintains appropriate certifications.
Assists technicians with field requests. Actively manages performance and ensures daily sites are completed.
Maintains records in CRM tool. Light marketing duties.
Take customer phone calls and emails, provide prompt resolution to any issues.
Provide customer assistance in-store.
