Throwback Thursday: ARCO Fueling Station

This week, we’re looking back at the ARCO Fueling Station located east of Devils Lake on HWY 2.

This project included a fuel service facility, bait shop, convenience store, and a massive 91,000 SF concrete parking area. Our crew poured approximately 1,700 cubic yards of concrete pavement!

Through a design-build approach, we provided the owners with a concrete solution that met the project’s performance requirements while staying within budget.

The finished project earned Gleason Construction the 2010 North Dakota Ready Mix Award for Concrete Paving—an accomplishment we’re still proud of today!

Earlier this week, we had the privilege of attending the dedication ceremony for the National Guard Line of Communication Bridge (LOC-B) Training Area at Camp Grafton.

This specialized combat bridge-building facility is the only location in the nation to support National Guard members as they prepare for these types of real-world missions.

We’re proud to have served as the contractor that brought this unique training area to life. It was especially rewarding to see the project in action and the impact it will have for years to come. Thank you to the Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce for attending and helping recognize this important addition to Camp Grafton.

We’re excited to announce that demolition is officially underway to make space for the new Western State Bank branch location in Devils Lake, ND.

The new bank will be constructed on their existing site and will feature a modern banking experience complete with a welcoming lobby, drive-up lanes, and concierge-style teller stations.

This project reflects Western State Bank’s continued investment in the Devils Lake community and we’re proud to partner with them to bring their new space to life.

Located at the corner of Veterans Boulevard and 32nd Avenue South, this site is being prepared for commercial and horizontally mixed-use developments in one of Fargo’s premier growth areas.
