At the Indian Health Service Whiteriver Indian Hospital, design didn’t start with a program, it started with listening. Deep engagement with White Mountain Apache history, culture and land is shaping every decision to create a building that reflects a living culture grounded in ancestral land and oriented toward a future the Tribe continues to define.
