Yep… THAT sponge you use to scrub your body with! 😂 But plot twist… before it dries out and turns into your bath sponge, you can actually EAT it! 😋

🌱 WEEKLY TUESDAY HARVEST + VOLUNTEER DAY! 🌱

It’s Harvest Day AND Volunteer Day at Nuri’s Community Garden! 🥕🍅🥬

Come hang out with us Tuesdays from 6–8 PM. We’ll be harvesting fresh veggies, but we also have some garden work that needs a little love! 💚

🌱 Planting transplants
🌿 Weeding needed
🔨 Building projects need some hands
🥬 Harvesting fresh produce
🌻 Good people + good energy

This week’s harvest may include squash, bell peppers, hot peppers, zucchini, tomatoes, collards, kale, and possibly fresh eggs! 🥚

Whether you can stay for the whole time or just lend a hand for a little while, we’d love to have you!

I found this hornworm on our tomato plant..

This one juicy hornworm will eat ALL YOUR TOMATOES!!! Whole plant will vanish lol… They turn into Hummingbird Moths.. Can you guess why they are called “hummingbird moths”?Because you’d think its a tiny bird flying by 😂😂 well, thats my conclusion.

TODAY WAS HARVEST TUESDAY!🌱

The garden was full of good vibes from start to finish. People stopped by to shop for fresh, locally grown produce, spent time chatting with one another, pitched in where they could, and left with bags full of vegetables and hearts full of good energy.
