Built on a reputation of quality in the construction industry, we have become one the largest General Contractors in Michigan and aspire to grow our footprint throughout the United Sates. As college career fair season winds down, our team is excited to prepare for the Class of 2027 Build U Interns who will begin next spring! At Ideal, we have worked hard to cultivate a premier internship program that provides students with an inclusive, hands-on experience across all facets of the construction industry. We look forward to building on the program's continued success and welcoming both returning and new interns to the Ideal team next year!

Kevin Inglis is a Project Manager with Ideal Contracting and a true champion of the construction industry. His passion for construction began in the Building Trades Program at the Livonia Career Technical Center, where he quickly realized he had found a career that was extremely fulfilling. Today, Kevin continues to thrive in the industry, helping deliver successful projects while inspiring the next generation of construction professionals just as others once inspired him.

What Kevin enjoys most about construction is the opportunity to bring people together around a common goal. For him, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a project come to life and knowing it was made possible through collaboration and shared expertise.

The strongest advocates for our industry are often those who have experienced its impact firsthand from an early age, and Kevin is a perfect example. We are proud to have him on our team and honored to recognize him as a Pillar of Ideal.

Our team has enjoyed hitting the road this fall and connecting with students at colleges and universities across Michigan to share what makes Ideal Contracting’s Build U Internship Program such a valuable experience.

We still have several stops ahead before career fair season wraps up, and we’re looking forward to meeting even more students today at Oakland University, as well as students from Eastern Michigan University and Grand Valley State University in the coming days and weeks.

As a proud member of the Southwest Detroit community and one of the first students to participate in Detroit Cristo Rey’s work-study partnership with Ideal, Osmara has spent more than a decade helping create meaningful opportunities for the community she calls home. Today, she leads many of our outreach efforts, building strong relationships with local partners and helping advance initiatives that make a lasting impact.
