The Underground Magnetics II project shines with the stunning beauty of stone imported from India! ✨ Our Director of Architecture & Business Development, Daniel Willrich, was honored by the Masonry Institute of Iowa for his work on this project, where this incredible stone was used as a rainscreen for the office portion. The result? A breathtaking blend of modern design and timeless material.

Thursday night was an exciting night for Grand View Christian School as they held their first athletic event in the new McWilliams Activities Center on their E29th and Broadway campus. This was a great project for Pelds Design Services to be a part of. Big thanks to the school and to our other team members, The Waldinger Corporation, Tesdell Electric, Tometich Engineering, Inc., and Eick & Day Construction, LLC for a successful project.

Our President and CEO, Wally Voldemars Pelds spent an afternoon with students at Moulton Elementary discussing how public art in their community relates to science and STEM concepts. Wally talked about the engineering behind the Miffy Fountain project at the library and Lift Off at the airport. These 5th grade students are a part of the CFUM summer program. The week long camp was sponsored by the DSM Public Art Foundation and facilitated by staff from the Science Center of Iowa.
