Since this fireplace also serves the room on the other side of the wall, moving it wasn't an option. The goal was to make it feel like an intentional part of the kitchen rather than an element we had to work around.

We brought in a glazed porcelain tile with an urban brick aesthetic, chosen to coordinate with the kitchen backsplash, and swapped the old brass doors for something more current.

A wood mantel brings warmth to the fireplace and ties it back to the other finishes throughout the kitchen.

Welcome to Beyond Kitchen & Baths, a new series showcasing the projects that go beyond what you might typically expect from us.

While kitchens and baths are a big part of what we do, that’s not all we do. We’re kicking things off with a new Windsor Heights project that came with a few unique challenges. Follow along as our Project Coordinator, Austin, takes you through it.

Stay tuned for the next part!

Working with a historic home means respecting what's already there. For this South of Grand bathroom, we kept it true to the era with white subway tile, hex flooring, and chrome fixtures.

We reused the original washstand, which feels right at home in the finished space.

These homeowners were dealing with frozen pipes every winter due to their washer and dryer sitting on an exterior garage wall. We moved the washer and dryer off that wall entirely and reworked the space with a drop zone and more storage.

We added cabinetry above the hanging rod, more storage below, and open counter space for folding and sorting.

Now they have exactly what they were after, a room that's as functional as it looks.

Some of the best upgrades aren't the ones you see first. With every new remodel, we're including a complimentary under-sink, 5-stage tanked reverse osmosis system and installation.

Design fee must be paid, and the project must enter the design phase by August 31, 2026. Valid on new projects only; cannot be applied to previously signed contracts.

Not planning a remodel? We also offer reverse osmosis installation as a standalone service.
