This project started with an idea from the Plant Operations team: create a better space for the staff to step away, recharge, and enjoy a real break during the workday.

At this Colorado Springs facility, the existing break room still felt more like an office. Plant Operations wanted to create a warmer, more comfortable environment for the employees, and G&S Construction helped bring that vision to life.

The renovation included new ceiling tile, new lighting, new flooring, new baseboard, updated walls, a functional electric fireplace, and live-edge wood countertops.

We especially liked the purpose behind this project. In a healthcare environment, so much attention naturally goes toward the patients, but this was also about creating something for the staff who are there every day taking care of others.

The result is a more inviting space where employees can truly step away and recharge.

Another fix-and-flip project completed. 🔨🏡

This home received renovations throughout all levels, including a fully finished basement with new bedrooms, a full bathroom, wet bar, gym area, framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, flooring, texture, paint, and lighting.

The main level included a complete kitchen renovation, updated bathrooms, new closets, a new walk-in closet in the primary bedroom, flooring, paint, trim, and finish work throughout.

The upper level bedrooms and bathroom were also fully updated, and the garage was completely refinished with new drywall finish, texture, and paint.

G&S Construction LLC working alongside licensed trades and additional subcontractors throughout the renovation.

A true team effort and another property ready for its next chapter.

Another commercial renovation project completed by G&S Construction LLC at a healthcare facility in Colorado Springs. 🔨🏥

This multi-floor project included work throughout patient, office, conference, and administrative areas across three floors.

The project included approximately 13,000 sq. ft. of flooring work and renovation work throughout approximately 32 rooms, offices, conference rooms, and other areas across the facility.

Our scope included:

• Removal and replacement of older light fixtures with new 16-inch and 6-inch LED fixtures
• Flooring installation and flooring repairs
• Wall and ceiling repairs
• Drywall patching, taping, mudding, and sanding
• Matching existing wall and ceiling textures where required
• Interior painting throughout multiple areas
• Door and opening modifications
• Finish repairs and general interior improvements

Based on the areas completed, the project involved approximately 28,000 –33,000 sq. ft. of wall and ceiling surface preparation and painting.

Because the work was completed inside an active healthcare facility, photography was limited in accordance with facility privacy and operational policies. We were able to capture a few photos of the completed work and progress, but many areas could not be photographed.

Commercial renovation in an active healthcare environment requires careful coordination, cleanliness, attention to detail, and minimizing disruption to daily operations.

Backyard upgrade complete. 🔨🏡

For this project, we created a better connection between the home and backyard by converting an existing window opening into a new sliding patio door, including the required framing reinforcement above the opening.

We also built a small deck/landing outside the new door and completed a new two-color stamped concrete patio reinforced with both rebar and fiber for added durability.

Better access, more usable outdoor space, and a completely new look for the backyard.

This home renovation in Arvada, Colorado involved much more than cosmetic improvements. The project included the addition of a new half bathroom, along with permitted electrical, plumbing, and mechanical updates completed in accordance with local building code requirements.

This renovation was made possible through the combined efforts of a skilled team of licensed trade professionals, subcontractors, and craftsmen working together to deliver a quality result.

The renovation was completed to prepare the home for its next owner, with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship, functionality, and long-term value.

Another major residential renovation project currently underway in Colorado.

This project includes a complete renovation of the existing home along with the transformation of a previously unfinished 1,150 sqft basement into functional living space.

The new basement layout will include:

• Two bedrooms
• One full bathroom
• Living room
• Dining area
• Dedicated home gym

Work completed to date includes egress window installation, framing, electrical rough-in, and drywall installation as construction continues moving forward.
