🌱 FESCUE SOD SEASON IS ALMOST HERE! 🌱

And yes… we know this is Bermuda. 😂🌱

But we had to show off this transformation because fresh sod just hits different! 😎🔥

Fescue sod season starts NEXT MONTH, which means it’s almost time to turn those tired, patchy lawns into thick, green, beautiful lawns.

If your grass is looking more “please don’t look at me” than “look at my lawn!” 😂 — now is the time to start planning.

🌳 When the trees start looking like they pay property taxes… it’s probably time. 😂

This property had some seriously overgrown trees that had officially entered their “we’re taking over now” era. 🌲😅

We came in and:
🌳 Removed the overgrown trees
🪵 Removed years of old tree mulch
🚜 Regraded the area
🌱 Installed fresh grass seed
🌾 Finished it off with straw

What was once an overgrown, uneven mess is now set up for a fresh start—and soon, some good-looking grass. 💪🌱

Out with the jungle. In with the lawn. 😂

Turns out… arborvitaes don’t magically come with a landscape bed. 🤷‍♂️😂

So we fixed that.

We gave these privacy trees the home they deserved:
🌿 Fresh bed design
🪨 Gray block edging
🌱 Dark brown mulch
🏡 Tied everything into the existing river rock

Now instead of looking like a few trees got dropped off in the middle of the yard, they actually look like they belong there. 😎

It’s crazy what one day of landscaping can do.

As LKN Landscaping and Excavation continues to grow, we’re looking for a motivated, dependable Lead Landscape Technician to join our team.

This position is part-time to start, with the goal of becoming full-time as our company continues to expand. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us and help build something long-term.

Check out this transformation! 🌱

What started as an overgrown, uneven property covered in weeds is now a professionally graded, cleaned, and graveled lot that’s ready to be put to work! We also gave the fence line a complete makeover by removing all of the overgrowth and installing new barbed wire, making the entire perimeter cleaner and more secure.

This project was one of our biggest to date, requiring countless hours of clearing, grading, and hauling gravel—but seeing these before and after photos makes every bit of hard work worth it!

We’re incredibly proud of what our team accomplished and grateful to our customer for trusting LKN Landscaping & Excavation, LLC with such a large-scale project!✨
