In New York City’s West Village neighborhood, construction on an incredibly unique condominium/retail building is underway. The 7-story building will be a Greenwich Village landmark upon completion, and Hohmann & Barnard is providing two of our custom engineered products to make this building even more extraordinary. Floors 2 through 6 will include our Thermal Brick Support (TBS) system. This innovative thermal product reduces thermal transfer and allows for continuous insulation, improving the building’s energy efficiency.

At the roof-level serpentine brick cornice, H&B’s Concealed Lintel System will be used, making the building both opulent and eye-catching. The system will be located at roof Level on the south and west elevations only, which are the two elevations viewed from the street. The brick veneer has been designed to radius outwardly, creating a crowned brick cornice.
