Today marks another milestone through our office redevelopment journey. The Venture Team has officially moved into our temp office space located at 455 Sherman St, Unit 207, Denver, CO to allow for the completion of the final demo prep items. Rest assured, special care was taken, and no architects were injured in the move.

Downtown Denver took a huge step towards revitalization yesterday with the opening of the first reconstructed block of the 16th Street Mall! The increased foot traffic will provide a positive ripple effect that will be felt throughout the entire downtown area.

As the national housing market continues to face headwinds that are contributing to a housing shortage, now more than ever is the time to get creative. The University of Maine, Advanced Structures and Composites Center (ASCC) is doing just that with the world’s first 100% bio-based 3D-printed home, built from local wood fiber and bio-resin materials.

The University of Maine is swapping concrete for wood materials to print houses using what it calls the largest polymer 3D printer in the world.

Great piece by Kate Tracy in yesterday’s DBJ about office to residential conversion projects. Spot on about the financial challenges for these otherwise “perfect fit” buildings. Our firm has been honored to work with Jennifer Ramsey and the city on the 820 16th St project, known as The George. We believe deeply in this city and know they see the light. Looking forward to continuing collaborating and finding creative strategies to solve the challenging cost profile for this critical real estate product.
