LS Group

LS Group LS Group promises to be the best design partner you will come across. Lighting is only successful when all the pieces come together harmoniously.

Architecture, systems, interiors, landscape – all of these things are lit or have lighting components that need to be coordinated. We will be flexible, intentional, and proactive. We are all creative in different ways and we will utilize our team’s strengths to provide the best project outcome.

Behind the scenes at Casa Marea.

Located within Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Los Cabos at Costa Palmas, this extraordinary residence was designed to bring generations together through thoughtful architecture, interiors and lighting. Every detail was carefully coordinated to create a seamless experience, from hidden lighting reveals to spaces that transition effortlessly between indoors and out.

We're proud to have collaborated with 159 Design to help bring the vision to life.

Exceptional lighting design doesn't happen by accident. And it doesn't happen all at once.

It comes together one (sometimes painstaking) detail at a time, though the ladder-climbs, fixture aiming sessions, late-night walk-throughs, and on-site coordination.

Located within the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Los Cabos at Costa Palmas in La Ribera, Mexico, the Casa Marea home was designed as a place for gathering, connection and creating memories across generations.

For our team, bringing that vision to life meant working closely with the construction team throughout the project to ensure every detail of the lighting design was executed exactly as intended. We worked across distance, navigated metric system measurements and language barriers, carefully detailed custom elements within the spare architectural design, and fully orchestrated the lighting and control system for both the indoor and outdoor environments.

The result is truly bespoke experience, one that feels calm, welcoming and deeply connected to the architecture, the landscape and the people who call it home.

The Benjamin by The Royal Sonesta New York: where historic architecture and modern hospitality meet. 🗽

Shaped by the constraints and opportunities of a historic structure, the lighting design balances preservation and performance through a layered approach centered on warmth, atmosphere and restraint.

Within the double-height lobby, a sculptural installation composed of suspended brass rods anchors the space. This element in particular required a highly tailored lighting approach to enhance dimensionality while maintaining softness and visual balance. Throughout the property, integrated lighting strategies were carefully calibrated to support material expression and hospitality without overpowering the architecture itself.

In the guest rooms, millwork-integrated lighting and upgraded LED retrofits introduced improved performance while preserving existing architectural conditions, allowing new layers of illumination to be woven seamlessly into the experience of the space.

The result is a lighting environment that feels quietly embedded within the building’s character, elevating comfort and atmosphere while honoring its history.

The quietest details often shape a guest experience the most.

Hotel Polaris integrated lighting was designed to feel seamless within the architecture, layered into headboards, shelving and architectural transitions to create warmth without distraction.

Rather than demanding attention, these moments of light work subtly in the background, supporting comfort, atmosphere and the overall rhythm of the space.

Lighting sets the rhythm of a restaurant long before the first conversation begins. 💡

A warm glow at the bar, contrast between shadow and brightness, subtle architectural details that slowly reveal themselves throughout the space. The most memorable hospitality environments are carefully layered, creating atmosphere that feels immersive, effortless and deeply connected to the experience itself.

Thoughtful lighting design shapes mood, highlights materiality and helps every space tell its own story.

What makes a restaurant’s ambiance memorable to you?

Inspired by the rhythm of aspen groves, Populus creates a vertical experience from root to canopy.

Our lighting design defines each level, with guest rooms inspired by dappled sunlight and the rooftop at transitioning into a warm ambient glow that complements city and mountain views.

A project that demonstrates how lighting can elevate experience while aligning with performance and sustainability goals.
