Design-Build projects foster innovation, value engineering opportunities, and condensed schedules.
In a hard-bid General Contracting method, the Tealstone team works closely with the design team to offer value analysis and engineering, cost estimating, constructibility reviews, scheduling, and scope review with prospective subcontractors. Our VP, Rick Callihan, talks about one of Tealstone’s most memorable projects!
One of our key builders, History Maker Homes, built a home for the grandmother of Juneteenth, Opal Lee, replacing the house she lost in a fire. We collaborated with multiple vendors to build Dr. Lee’s new, single-story residence. The project was completed in June 2024 and we are proud to have been a part of it!
