Have you ever thought about serving your community? The filing deadline to run for a 4-year term on the Village of Denton Board of Trustees is Monday, August 3, at 5:00 p.m.
To become a candidate, you must complete a Candidate Filing Form at the:

Serving on the Village Board is a great opportunity to help shape Denton's future, represent your neighbors, and make a positive impact on our community.
All candidate filing paperwork must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3. If you've been thinking about getting involved, now is the time to file!

The Bookmobile will be in Denton tomorrow (July 7) from 3:30–4:30 PM! They will be parked on Lancaster Ave by the park.

If you've been meaning to stop by, tomorrow is a great chance! Checking out books and using the Bookmobile helps support the outreach program and shows that our community values having this service.

Don't have a library card yet? That's okay! They can help you sign up and get one while you're there.

Just in time for the Fourth of July weekend, we have added temporary pickleball lines to the court.

If we see there is a lot of interest, we will look into something more permanent.

Our maintenance crew hopes to start flushing as early as June 23rd, and it may take a week to reach all hydrants.

Lincoln City Libraries’ new Book Mobile was in town today!

The Village of Denton is looking for volunteers to help with a Plant Nebraska landscaping project at the Denton Community Center on Tuesday, May 12th at 9:30 a.m.

The Village received a grant through Plant Nebraska to help make this landscaping project possible. Plant Nebraska is a nonprofit organization focused on healthy people, vibrant communities, and a resilient environment through planting projects across Nebraska.

Volunteers can check in the morning of the project or contact Ross at 402-440-0626 with questions or to sign up.
