Some before and after pictures of a decent little job we knocked out this week.

We was contacted to replace the steps originally due to deterioration. After looking into the job, we determined that the porch slab was in bad shape and the support posts for the porch roof were rotted.

We further noted that the original porch slab was only 3” and some spots only 2 1/2” thick. The porch slab actually sloped back to the house as well.

Customer requested us to fix it all.

We removed the porch slab, steps and poured new concrete. Porch slab is now over 6” thick and slopes away from the house. We also installed new 6” x 6” support posts for the porch roof.

This was a fun job!

Customer had an above ground pool installed earlier this year. Pool company told the customer that the hillside would be fine behind the pool.

After a few rains the customer found out that the hillside was starting to slip and contacted us to fix the issue.

We provided the customer with several options to choose from and they chose this decorative retaining wall block.

We excavated around the pool, installed drainage and a tamped base. We then installed the decorative retaining wall. We finished the wall off with decorative concrete wall caps.

Applied grass seed and straw to the affected area.

We also added geo fabric and RiverRock in between the retaining wall and pool for a low Maintence landscape feature.

Customer wanted the old wood porch and old pieces of concrete removed and replaced with new concrete.

Some before and after pictures of a concrete job the crew knocked out of the park today.

Customer contacted us and explained that he had his old front steps removed to repair a block foundation wall to accommodate remodeling that he was having done to his house.

Customer wanted new steps poured at the front of his house, a new walkway and driveway poured.

Customer was tired of the old limestone driveway and constantly fighting grass growing through the limestone.

Customer contacted us to check out a “wet spot” in his yard. Customer indicated that the wet spot had progressively got worse over the course of a year, making mowing the yard challenging due to the soft ground.

After some discussion we learned that his property was fed with an artesian well and that the line was close to the wet spot.

We dug up the area and located the broken water line. We repaired the line and backfilled the line with sand for protection then topped off with topsoil.

Within one day the ground was noticeably drier. Customer can now mow the lawn with no worries of getting his mower stuck.

Some before, during and after pictures of a job we recently completed for a customer.

Customer contacted us and wanted an old fuel oil tank removed from the ground and a new fuel tank installed above ground.

We excavated and removed the old tank. Backfilled the hole and tamped material accordingly to prevent settling.

Formed and poured a concrete pad and installed the new tank.

Another happy customer.
