The first round of distillation creates what we call “low wines.”
It’s not really wine. It’s the glass pictured with an ethereal blue haze.
It turns out that we like to use all the other alcohol terms when creating our whiskey. Cooked, fermented grains start as "wash," which turns into low wines. After a second distillation, it becomes whiskey.
Which means whiskey is the final boss of the alcohol production process. Everyone else is just quitting early.
But we’re not quitters. And that’s why we make whiskey. 🥃
