Designing a fuel line frame bracket for a drag car!

A glimpse into somewhat of a typical morning for me nowadays. This is a good life.

Design is of a fuel line frame bracket. This is for a drag car and the bracket helps secure the fuel lines to the frame of the car while it goes down the track.





Just another day remodeling with this work horse. This truck was my grandfather's and it means a whole lot to me.

Here I designed custom fuel line grommets for a drag car. These grommets wil be 3d printed and used to secure the fuel lines to minimize any movement or vibration while going down the track.

I used my einstar rockit to 3d scan the frame and then pulled that into fusion 360 for design. In this case the customer has a 3d printer in his shop. I just send him the 3d model in a printable file type and he can print it out at as many times as he would like with whatever material he wants!
