A day in the life of an arborist.

Elevate Tree Care is actively pursuing an individual to provide direct support to our certified arborist. The successful applicant will be a fast thinker, able to take direction and learn, reliable, and passionate about working in the tree care industry. There will be an initial probationary period of ninety days, with the opportunity to grow in this position long term from the responsibilities listed below to learning climbing techniques and/or running a separate crew. The work hours will primarily be Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.

Initial Job Responsibilities:
● Rig large wood pieces out of trees under the direction of the arborist
● Prepare equipment needed by the arborist for successful and efficient job ex*****on
● Operate a chainsaw, wood chipper, stump grinder, and dingo, among other powerful tools with safety and accuracy
● Remove debris from the job site by hauling brush, raking, and running other ground cleaning equipment
● Interact with customers and other employees on a professional level
● Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
● Must be able to carry at least fifty pounds
● Valid driver’s license and ability to haul a trailer with equipment
