General Refrigeration Company was recently honored by the Sussex County Fire Chiefs Association this year with the Civilian Medal of Recognition for our team's response during a hazardous ammonia emergency in 2025. This award reflects the professionalism, expertise, and courage of our employees who stepped up when it mattered most.

As we mark this anniversary, we want to extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated team, the first responders, and our community partners who worked together to protect lives and ensure a safe outcome. We are proud of the role our employees played and grateful for their commitment to safety every day.

As summer comes to a close, we want to thank our 2026 interns, Tempest Miller and Tanner Hart, for all of their hard work, dedication, and fresh perspectives throughout the season. 🌟

Tempest and Tanner's contributions made a difference, and we’re grateful to have been part of their professional journey. They both added so much value this summer that we will be keeping them on in part time capacity as they continue their academic journey and grow professionally here at GR.

Our team recently participated in Communicating with Tact and Diplomacy, led by speaker Jim Rice, a training session focused on understanding others, adapting communication styles, and delivering messages in a way that builds trust and drives results.

From learning how to "read the field" before responding to choosing the right approach for every conversation, Jim provided our team with practical tools they can use every day to communicate more effectively.
Investing in communication skills helps us strengthen relationships, reduce misunderstandings, and work more effectively together.

✔️ Experience with Stick, TIG, and MIG welding
✔️ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
✔️ Industrial pipe welding experience preferred
✔️ Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and other industrial equipment
✔️ Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork
✔️ Willingness to travel and work on project sites as needed
