This was a fun project we recently completed! 🤩
A returning customer asked us to inspect their second-story deck after experiencing issues with the existing water management system. Water was leaking through the deck, making the space below unusable.

Our solution was to remove the old deck boards while preserving the framing and railing, then rebuild the surface using TimberTech decking paired with DexerDry—a rubber gasket system installed between the deck boards to create a dry, usable space underneath.

We also refinished the ceiling below the deck, corrected framing issues, installed 5 new post, and removed the old staircase to make room for a custom storage shed. To top it off, we assembled a PergolaLux pergola for the client.

This project took some time, but the end result is a beautifully finished deck with a fully usable space underneath—and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

✅ Built new frame, 12” on center joist with tape
✅ Installed Timbertech solid decking
✅Added end rail with drink rail
