Just a quick reminder that we will not be out spraying today in observance of Labor Day.

As we start winding down another season, if you receive an upcoming spray notification and feel you’re ready to be done for the year, just send us a message through Square or Facebook Messenger and we’ll get you taken care of.

We’ve had such a wonderful summer serving our clients, and we truly appreciate every single one of you—especially your patience and flexibility whenever weather, schedules, or life threw us a curveball.

🦟🍂 A LITTLE UPDATE FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS 🍂🦟 *long post but trying to cover all the bases*

We’ll be out spraying Monday–Thursday this week, as usual! (8/31-9/3)

We wanted to take a minute to give everyone a little update as we head into the final stretch of mosquito season.

Every Sunday, we sit down and look closely at the weather forecast before planning our entire week of spraying. We truly do our best to stay ahead of the weather and make sure everyone gets their treatment as close to schedule as possible. But, as many of you know, Minnesota weather has a mind of its own! 😅 Sometimes a rain shower shows up that wasn't even on the radar, and unfortunately, that can mean schedules need to shift.

We’ve been reaching out to many of you when your next treatment has needed to be moved because of weather or scheduling changes. Please keep an eye on your messages from Square. The sooner you’re able to respond, the sooner we can get everything figured out and your next treatment on the books.

And if you’re thinking, “I think we’re probably done for the season,” or maybe you’d like to push your next treatment out a little — please just reach out to us through Square! We are always happy to work with you. As we mentioned recently, we’re able to get back to messages during the week after 4 PM.

This week is especially busy for our little family, with all four of our kids starting school over two different days. 🎒❤️

We are a small, family-owned business, and sometimes that means we're answering messages between school drop-offs, family responsibilities, and everything else life throws at us. We may not always be able to respond immediately, but please know that your message matters to us. We see it, we appreciate you reaching out, and we will get back to you as soon as we're able.

🍂 ONE MORE QUICK REMINDER

If you booked with us back in May for 6 treatments every 3 weeks, some of you will be finishing your scheduled treatments after this week. We originally scheduled through the big Labor Day weekend.

So if you don't see another appointment notification come through, don't assume you're done for the season! If you'd like another treatment, just send us a message and we'll gladly get another one added for you. 🦟

And finally, we really just want to say thank you. ❤️

Thank you for choosing our little family business. Thank you for being patient when the weather doesn't cooperate. Thank you for working with us when schedules have to change. Thank you for understanding that sometimes we're trying to balance running a business while also raising our four kids.

Every house we pull up to, every customer we get to know, and every person who continues to trust us with their home means more to us than you probably realize.

You aren't just customers to us. You're the reason we're able to keep doing this. And we genuinely cherish each and every one of you.

The past several years have been a gift that I'll never take for granted.

I've been incredibly fortunate to stay home with our four kids while also helping run Greely Mosquito Defense. Being able to care for my family and our customers at the same time is something I know not everyone gets to experience, and I'm so thankful I did.

One thing I never expected was the relationships that would grow from this business. Even though many of us have never met face to face, I've celebrated with you when you bought a new home or cabin, congratulated you on exciting milestones, and grieved alongside you when you've lost someone you love. I've watched families grow, listened to your stories, and truly looked forward to our conversations. You've become so much more than customers.

As our family enters a new chapter, so do I.
Beginning August 17, I'll be returning to work outside of our home to help support our family. This wasn't an easy decision because I genuinely love what I do and the connections I've made with so many of you.

This isn't goodbye. I'll still be part of Greely Mosquito Defense, just in a different capacity. My response times may be a little slower, but my commitment to our customers hasn't changed. Greg and I will continue working hard to provide the service you've come to expect.
To everyone who has trusted us with your homes and yards, shared pieces of your lives with me, and supported our family business over the years...thank you. Your kindness and encouragement have meant more than you'll ever know.

Just wanted to come on here and hope everyone is safe with minimal damage done with last night's crazy storm.

As I stated last week we are at max spraying for this week, week of the 4th of July. We can only accommodate so many clients in a week with the on going rain in the forecast and only having one guy spraying for us. If you would like to be sprayed next week or moving forward we can accommodate those requests but can not for anymore this week.

We have opened up our schedule for this Saturday 06/13/2026, due to the wacky weather we are having and we'd love to add more people. New mosquitoes hatch every 7–14 days depending on conditions, so the problem keeps coming back.
