Ewww
surprise! đŸ€ą A leaking furnace created enough moisture for microbial growth to start hiding on the carpet tack strip. Just because you can’t see a problem doesn’t mean one isn’t growing underneath.

Sometimes the best demolition is the demolition you don’t have to do.

This mat drying system helps pull trapped moisture from affected hardwood flooring after a water loss. When conditions allow, professional drying can help save the floor, reduce demolition, and limit reconstruction costs.

Fingers crossed we can save this one đŸ€ž

That’s what mitigation is all about.

Water doesn’t magically disappear just because you can’t see it. 👀💧

Our extraction equipment pulls trapped water from carpeting, padding, and other affected areas, helping prevent further spread while making the saturated materials lighter and easier to remove.

Every gallon removed now is less damage to deal with later.

Third-floor toilet leak âžĄïž basement.

This water loss traveled through multiple levels of the home before reaching the lowest level.

When water enters a structure, visible damage may only tell part of the story. Identifying moisture migration throughout affected floors, ceilings, walls, and building materials is essential to creating an effective mitigation and drying plan.

How was your Weekend?

Ours came with ceiling water balloons...and unfortunately, no party. 💧🎈

If your ceiling starts sagging or bubbling, don’t poke it yourself. Shut off the water source if possible, stay clear of the area, and call a professional.

It may look dry...but the flooring tells a different story.

This hardwood floor was assumed to be dry after water damage, but it had already begun to warp. Moisture can remain trapped beneath wood flooring and in the subfloor long after the surface feels dry.

Professional moisture testing takes the guesswork out of the drying process. If water damage isn’t dried correctly, it can lead to permanent flooring damage, microbial growth, and more expensive repairs.

Before calling it dry, call Dry Source.

See what was lurking behind the walls. 👀

This abandoned root cellar had a serious moisture issue - and significant microbial growth covering the walls. Forgotten spaces can still cause very real problems for the rest of the property.

A fresh coat...but this wasn’t just a paint job. 👀

This exterior garage wall had microbial growth that needed proper remediation. Our team cleaned and treated the affected framing, then applied an encapsulant to seal and protect the remediated surfaces.

Encapsulation is the finishing step - not a shortcut for covering up mold. The growth must be properly addressed first, because “just paint over it” is never the remediation plan.

Another home cleaned up, sealed, and ready for reconstruction!

It’s a dirty job
but somebody’s gotta do it! đŸ’Ș

Our team responded to an emergency water loss and removed the affected insulation so the plumber could access and repair the damaged line. Sometimes restoration means crawling into the places nobody else wants to go - but getting the job done right is what we do.

When water goes where it shouldn’t, Dry Source is ready to get to work.
