Mosquito Season: Why Standing Water Is Enemy Number One
Mosquitoes need surprisingly little water to breed, sometimes less than an inch, and they can complete their life cycle in about a week during warm weather. That's why a single missed spot in a yard, a clogged gutter, a tarp, an unused planter, can undo an otherwise mosquito-free property.
A few things we recommend before booking a treatment: empty or refresh any standing water weekly, check gutters for drainage issues, and store containers so they don't collect rain.
If mosquitoes are still a problem after doing the basics, message us for a free yard assessment. Sometimes the source is somewhere less obvious, like a low spot in the yard or a neighboring property.
