In addition to our manufacturing capabilities, we provide technical expertise and consulting services to architects, owners, and contractors throughout the U.S. Our manufacturing and consulting services recently have earned us a 2012 Copper in Architecture Award from the Copper Development Association and an honorable mention Gold Circle Award (2013) for Innovate Solutions (Roofing) from the National Roofing Contractors Association. Our company is led by Guenther Huber, who was trained in his family business in Germany before immigrating to the U.S. Guenther has more than 30 years’ practical experience with copper and zinc, specializing in the historic restoration field.

We know it's been a while since our last update, but we’re excited to share that we’re hard at work on finishing this installation on the Anderson County Courthouse in Anderson, SC.

Happy Wednesday!

Celebrating day three of National Roofing Week by diving into the beauty of standing seams. These interlocking marvels boast a waterproof seal, standing tall above metal panels to elegantly conceal fasteners. Their flexibility accommodates temperature shifts, a design feature that dates back to the mid-century modernization era. They remain timeless and are still one of my favorite styles of sheet metal roofing.

Ornametals Manufacturing fabricates EuroGutterUSA, a proprietary rainwater system in copper and VMZinc. EuroGutterUSA features half-round gutter and seamless-weld downspouts manufactured in a state-of-the-art production facility in Cullman, Alabama. The only system of its type manufactured in the U.S., EuroGutterUSA is a high-quality, durable “European-style” system. Distinguished from the “American system,” EuroGutterUSA features “forward bead” gutters designed to tilt away from the fascia, and “seamless” pipe and elbows (not crimped). We provide a total rainwater system, including all accessories, and can fabricate custom rainwater-related products like radius gutter, moldings and specialty leaderheads (connector boxes).

We also fabricate a wide range of architectural ornaments: finials; dormers; mansards; and other decorative roofing elements for both the contemporary and historical restoration markets.
