Not all cabinet construction is created equal. Dovetail joinery interlocks drawer sides with far more strength than simple butt joints held together by glue and staples. Solid wood drawer boxes hold up to decades of daily opening and closing without the corners eventually loosening. Full-extension glides let you actually reach the back of a drawer instead of leaving items permanently stranded.

These are the kind of details that separate cabinetry built to last from cabinetry that needs replacing in a decade — differences you won't see in a photo but will genuinely feel every day.
