We believe a custom home should be designed around you.

Our in-house design process starts with getting to know you- how you live, what you love, and what you want in your future home.

We also consider the land your home will sit on- its natural features, elevation, views, and how you envision using your outdoor spaces. A thoughtfully designed home should complement both your lifestyle and the property it sits on.

From there, we turn your wants and needs into custom floor plans, elevations, and detailed 3D views.

Because custom home design is about more than square footage and finishes. It’s about creating a home that fits your family, your land, and the life you want to live.

Built with Intention.

When the jobsite gets busy, coordination keeps everything moving.

Standing seam, stone, septic, and spray foam all happening today at this custom build.

Planning is a huge part of building, but so is coordinating in real time when the jobsite gets busy. Keeping crews communicating, access clear, and work moving is where we come in.

Everyone showed up at once. We brought the coordination.

Proud to support the Captain’s Open again this year⛳️

This organization was created in honor of my cousin, Casey Duncum, and raises funds to support Building Hope’s work in Honduras. Last year, the Captain’s Open helped make an incredible impact- with 12 homes built throughout the year. During their May mission trip alone, the team completed three of those homes plus a kindergarten building in just four days.

With each home costing about $3,500 to build, every sponsorship and donation can make a very real difference for a family.

We’re grateful to be a small part of carrying Casey’s memory forward through something that continues to serve others. 🤍

New shingles don’t need to be put through the wringer.

That’s why we finish the chimney stone first keeping heavy stone, mortar mess, and extra foot traffic off your new roof. A little planning goes a long way!

Aging-in-place details are easiest to plan before the walls are closed up.
At the framing stage, we’re thinking through things like wider openings, better clearances, blocking for future grab bars, and layouts that will continue to function well as needs change.
Small decisions now can make a home much easier to live in long-term.

Not every upgrade in a custom home is worth the money.

These are a few of the things we do think are worth investing in- because they improve how the home performs, functions, or holds up over time.

A few of our MKH Custom must-haves:
• High performance windows
• Whole-home dehumidifier
• Quality cabinet & trim paint
• Finish-in-place hardwood floors

Our rule of thumb: spend your money on the things you use every day, the things that are difficult to change later, and the things that make your home perform better.
