Ever wonder why we talk so much about air flow and how it can make or break your systems performance This why we continuously educate our team on the value we can bring for our community with uncompromised results. This was one of our new installs including ducting. (12,0000 btus is 1 ton of cooling) First one was default settings operating at 22,000 btus with a 2 ton ac. No changes just thrown together and turned on. We made a fan speed adjustment because the load calculations called for 23,000 btuhs at 1050 cfm with 70 degrees indoors 50% relative humidity at 95 Degrees outside. (Which is also what equipment rated output is tested at). After adding a couple of ounces to hit our target charge and going up one fan speed to get all little closer to design air flow we got our final output testing. What are the results you ask?

30,000 btuhs thats 2.5 tons of effective cooling.

Why is regular maintenance so important yet ignored. We've cleaned more units this year than the last 2 combined it seems. This unit was so dirty it lost 50% of its effective cooling. This causes wear and tear due to longer run times and additional mechanical stress. It also causes those pesky run capacitors to fail. Don't let lack of maintenance cost you thousands in premature replacement equipment costs!

Its been a long road to find the right fit for our lead field guy. Tomorrow I am happy to announce Will Good as my Decatur Branch Field Manager. Will is a Decatur native who recently moved back home from Washington state. Hes had 12 years experience on paper including management and training roles with his prior company and been named employee of the year for a multi million dollar company overseeing medium to large crews. He recently contacted me because he was looking for the right fit for not only himself but to be a part of a team for the long haul. We have talked for an easy 6 hours and I know he will represent the company with the upmost value, moral ethics and provide the best customer service that we strive for.

We are now back to the manpower we were at the beginning of the year and won't be 2 to 3 weeks backed up as we have been all spring. We look forward to serving Decatur, Springfield and the surrounding areas better and as always.
