Jan Door is looking for a Parts Counter Associate!!
📌Key Responsibilities include:
-Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with orders, pricing, availability, and basic garage door part questions.
-Process customer pickup orders quickly and accurately, including commercial and residential materials.
-Assist customers at the counter, pulling and distributing garage doors, hardware, and stocked materials.
-Provide basic product knowledge on common garage door parts (springs, rollers, hinges, cables, operators, etc.).
-Check stock availability and communicate with customers regarding inventory levels and lead times.
-Take deposits and payments for special order materials following company cash‑handling procedures.
-Retrieve materials from the shop when needed to complete customer orders.
-Assist the shop on truck delivery days, including unloading, organizing, and staging incoming inventory.
📌Qualifications:
-Customer service or counter sales experience preferred.
-Ability to lift and move sections, hardware, and materials as required.
-Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
-Basic knowledge of garage door parts (or willingness to learn).
-Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with frequent customer interaction.
‼️This is a Full‑time, on‑site position. Warehouse/shop environment with customer‑facing counter. Requires occasional physical labor, mostly will be at office desk / customer counter‼️
