It’s true…team members who match work better together!

Yesterday, a handful of Earth Development team members coincidentally wore the same “No Surprises” sweatshirt to work, and we couldn’t miss the opportunity to grab a quick picture.

Since our Summer Summit in July, our team has been working hard to uphold our new tagline for the year “no surprises.” By committing to doing our part and communicating clearly, we’re eliminating the chance for surprises, allowing us to offer our clients thorough and reliable care all year long. Yesterday, these three were a clear reminder of that!

We had a bit of a celebration at Earth Development!

Our VP of Sales, Pat Riley, used a split-screen monitor for the first time…turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks!

After a year of trying to convince him to use both screens, we knew we had to celebrate. The next day, Pat walked into a fully decked out office, complete with streamers and a card to commemorate the moment.

Is it a little over the top? Absolutely. Is that kind of the point? Also yes.

Summer may be coming to a close but your lawn still needs the right care to ensure it survives the winter and thrives in the spring. Here’s what your commercial lawn and landscaping vendor should be doing to care for your property this fall.

🍁September
Continue to water and mow regularly with lower mower blades. Boost your lawn with extra nutrients by fertilizing cool season grasses and applying w**d & feed products.

🍁October
Keep mowing regularly, but reduce watering to 1” every 2 weeks. Remove any fallen leaves and apply lime and other soil amendments.

🍁November
This is the final time to prepare lawns before winter. Watering scheduled should be stopped and fall clean up services should begin. Continue mowing the grass until it goes dormant.
