Some quick tips to make sure your furnace is winter ready

1. Check your thermostat and see that it's responsive ahead of cooler weather. This means putting in new batteries and reviewing the programmed schedule.
2. Check your air filters - this is great time to replace them. These should be checked and replaced around every 3 months for peak furnace efficiency.
3. Check your vents and radiators and ensure the areas around them aren't obstructed.
