Today I made a custom basement window well cover at a home in Villanova. I added a pair of pneumatic props. Reason is the window can’t lean against the house when hinged open because furnace exhaust pipes are in the way. Message me if you’re interested!

Just finished building and painting 4 custom basement window well covers at a house in Haverford. These were a little larger than your average window well. I scribed them to fit the stone as tight as possible and then I used clear caulk to fill in any gaps. (The caulk looks white but turns clear once dry) The homeowner wanted them painted a grey which I think was a good idea because white covers are hard to keep looking clean all the time. Today I finished installing new kitchen cabinet doors with new soft close hinges and new under mount soft close drawer slides along with new drawer fronts at a house in Wallingford. I also painted the cabinets a light grey to match everything new. I drilled new holes and reused the existing handles. Message me if this is something you’re interested in having done at your house.

Today I built a privacy fence at a house in Springfield. I took down the old fence which was rotting away and wasn’t that stable. I used all new pressure treated lumber. I screwed the fence to the existing wall and used a couple L brackets to secure it to the house. Message me if you’re interested.

Been a while since i posted…been working on my house a lot but last week i started this closet remodel at a house in Thornton and finished it today. The old doors were only 36” wide and the homeowner wanted me to open up the wall as much as possible (the closet is 8ft) so I found 90 inch wide bifold doors online and they were ordered. I cut the wall open for the new doors and then made the new door jamb. I built, painted and installed a 28” wide custom cabinet inside the closet with 3 soft close drawers and 3 adjustable shelves above and then installed a pair of closet rods on either side of the cabinet. I also painted the inside of the closet along with new door trim inside and outside the closet. Finally i installed the bifold doors and handles. Message me if you’re interested! 👍

I had an interesting day today. Got my van stuck on a big rock. I was working at a house up in the poconos and went to back out of the driveway so I could turn my van around and couldn’t see where the driveway was because it was covered in snow. As I’m backing up I heard a loud thud. Then I realized i couldn’t move because I had wedged my van onto a big rock. Luckily I have AAA and a tow truck was able to pull me off the rock pretty easily. Got super lucky, not much damage at all. My spare tire protected my rear differential from getting smashed. Anyway I was able to finish this job, which included extending two railings up higher on the second floor so nobody could accidentally fall off the catwalk. The homeowner is going to stain the new pieces of wood and then eventually plans to rent out the property.
