Today I added filler strips and crown moulding to two IKEA cabinets, making them look more built in. I did not cut the existing crown moulding so if the homeowners ever decide to remove the cabinets then they won’t need to mess with the crown moulding. These cabinets were already screwed to the wall. I had to take the doors off in order to make the process easier. The cabinets were racked a little bit , these IKEA cabinets don’t have a solid back so they don’t stay square. so even after adjusting the doors, they weren’t lining up even. So I had to move one door on each cabinet down a 1/4”. The homeowners are going to paint. Message me if this is something you’re interested in having done. 👍

I decided to make myself another dresser. I wasn’t happy with the stain color for the top of the first dresser I had made last month so I made new ones and used a different stain color. I also changed the handles. I think it looks much better!

Today I finished installing these custom built ins at a home in Havertown. The base cabinet on the left is actually a radiator cover. And for the first time in years I made inset doors. The panels of the doors are aluminum mesh. Inside the smaller base cabinet is an access panel so you can reach in and shut off the valve. And the face frames are each made out of one piece. The cut outs turned into the doors. Last picture is the AI rendering I worked off of to match. Message me if you’re interested! 👍

Another window well cover! This one is at a house in Havertown. The concrete well wall was sloped so I had to figure out how I can build the cover to sit level all while having to scribe to the stone foundation. Message me if you’re interested!

I built 3 window well covers at my house. I worked on them here and there for the past couple weeks. I had to place concrete pavers around the well walls before I started building the covers. I also replaced one of the old well walls because it had rusted. I painted them black. Message me if you’re interested!

Today I built one custom basement window well cover in Wynnewood. I scribed it to fit the stone. I added a pair of pneumatic props and I painted it to match the shutters. The caulk will turn clear once it dries. Message me If you’re interested! I have availability as soon as two weeks from now.

Yesterday I finished adding shelves in two closets at a house in Narberth. I then painted them. The two long shelves are 1” thick solid oak stair treads so they shouldn’t sag. Message me if you’re interested in having any custom cabinets made!

Today I made a custom basement window well cover at a home in Villanova. I added a pair of pneumatic props. Reason is the window can’t lean against the house when hinged open because furnace exhaust pipes are in the way. Message me if you’re interested!
