Client wanted their front porch railing repaired and painted.

Initially, the client wanted the entire railing replaced; however, we assured them that the railing just needed a little TLC. We replaced two top rails as they had deteriorated beyond repair. We then plumbed and reattached several loose balusters. That was followed up with a washing and two coats of paint. This process renewed the railing and was a significant cost savings compared to total replacement.

Client wanted their ceiling painted, two hanging light fixtures cleaned, and four recessed lights replaced.

We did some minor repairs to the ceiling and spot primed a few areas with troublesome stains, followed with a coat of premium ceiling paint. We removed both hanging light fixtures and cleaned them before rehanging them. Lastly, we removed the four recessed ceiling lights, and replaced them with retro LED lights.

Client wanted an older chandelier replaced with a new one.

This pretty much wraps us up for the year. Alex is off to do his accounting duties and I’ll be doing some projects in my shop. We already have two clients on our list when we return in May. Client wanted an 85 inch television hung with no exposed cables.

We installed a heavy duty wall mount to structure and then installed a pass-through so no cables would be seen.

Client wanted their doors and shutters repaired and refreshed.

We repaired some deterioration to the doors, frames, and casing. After cleaning, we applied a specialized primer and then two coats of a high-quality paint.

We assisted our friends with Star Protective Systems. We first installed an Electronic Deadbolt for one of their clients, which will be connected to a security system later. We then assembled 100 yard signs to be placed in conspicuous locations.

Client wanted their Upstairs Railing replaced with a side wall and custom Shelving Unit, a Downstairs Handrail replaced, and three Floating Shelves installed.

The Shelving Unit took a little time as the measurements had to be precise to fit in the opening properly; we made a template to help us with this. We then installed the Handrail and followed that with three custom Floating Shelves.
