The Jubilee Festival of Arts is back in Olde Towne Daphne this Saturday and Sunday!

We're talking local artists, handmade treasures, live music, good food, and plenty for the kiddos to enjoy. They've even got a tailgating area for those of us who don't want to miss the football games. 🏈😂

Whew, Gulf Coast… y’all have earned a little relief! ❤️ After the week we've had, Mother Nature is finally sending some cooler weather our way. And we reckon that's something we can ALL appreciate!

Before we get too excited about that first real taste of fall, we want to give a special THANK YOU to the linemen, first responders, cleanup crews, and neighbors who've been looking out for one another since the storm. That's what makes our Gulf Coast communities special. When things get tough, folks show up for each other.

Some welcome news for our Gulf Coast neighbors this morning! ❤️

🌉 Bridges in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach have reopened, and municipal curfews have been lifted We're thankful to see our communities taking steps toward recovery, but y'all, please continue to be careful out there.

⚠️ Fallen trees, debris, downed power lines, and damaged traffic signals can still make local roads dangerous. If you don't need to be out, give emergency responders and utility crews room to work. A big THANK YOU to all the first responders, utility workers, and emergency crews helping our communities get back on their feet. We appreciate y'all! ❤️

🌀 Mobile & Baldwin County — now is the time to prepare.
With Tropical Storm Isaias expected to strengthen as it approaches the northern Gulf Coast, local officials are urging everyone to use today and Thursday to finish preparations before conditions begin deteriorating.
A few important reminders for our neighbors:
• Secure patio furniture, trash cans and anything outdoors that could become airborne.
• Charge phones, battery packs and other essential devices.
• Have flashlights, batteries, food, water, medications and necessary supplies ready.
• Make a plan for your pets, too.
• If you live in a low-lying or flood-prone area, know your evacuation plan and be prepared to act if local officials tell you to leave.
• Have multiple ways to receive weather warnings — especially overnight.
• Never drive through flooded roadways.
• Stay out of the Gulf as surf and rip-current conditions become increasingly dangerous.
• Continue following NWS Mobile, Baldwin County EMA, Mobile County EMA and your local officials for the latest information.
