As a small business owner I work hard for my equipment. First off I hate thief. My trailer was vandalized and equipment stolen over the weekend. My trailer was stored in a locked Hawkeye storage facility. They do have cameras
and Danville Police Detectives are viewing the security cameras. The thief cut fence to enter the facility.

To my customers I’m doing my best with what equipment I have. Hope to have replacement items soon. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Items taken were Stihl chain saw x 2 Stihl back pack blower and 12 volt jump pack. I have listed pictures of items stolen for reference only. If anyone has any leads to help capture the thief please contact me 317-281-4092 call/text or pm me for more details.

We continue to monitor a minor accumulating snowfall event for late Tuesday night through late Wednesday across the region. However, this data is probably even too aggressive. Details to be fine-tuned in the next 24-36 hours.

Forecast is subject to change! There are still a lot of uncertainties in this system when it comes to the systems exact track and temperature. Yesterday models were placing this system on and Eastern track bringing more snow to Ohio and lesser amounts to Indiana. However some runs today are beginning to bring it back Westward a little bit. That card of this system coming back West is still on the table and could happen as well as it shifting further East leaving Indiana with very little snow. Any change in the systems track could dramatically change numbers. Counties near the lake should remain alert for the potential major lake effect event with narrow bands of 3-6". Outside of the lake region higher totals of 1-3 and 2-4" are possible for Eastern Indiana. Regardless of snow totals this system will also bring a lot of wind, expect winds sustained at 20-25mph on Monday.

SNOW! Update on the potential winter storm that could impact our area Monday into Tuesday. Models have been inconsistent with the exact track of this system and as of today, it has been shifting the entire system eastward, leaving western Indiana with little to no accumulations. While the heaviest bands of snow may not impact Indiana, we still expect measurable accumulations for at least the eastern half of the state. Plenty of uncertainty exists and a trend back west is certainly still possible.

We are watching tonight's models extremely close as we finally get to sample this storm on land, giving us better insight on what this system is capable of.

And finally, we had a lot of people message us and comment on our last post asking us how many inches we could see. While this is a valid question, we CANNOT predict snowfall totals at this time and we urge you to take any forecasted snow totals you may see, with caution. It's simply too early to predict this.
With that being said, we hope to begin predicting snow totals tomorrow night, if not Saturday.

Stay tuned for our next update tomorrow at 7pm!
