We recommend replacing the hose and assembly, installing a new kitchen faucet and basket strainer, and installing the required sink drain line. Roto-Rooter removed and disposed of the existing garbage disposal and capped the electrical line. We installed a new kitchen sink basket, tubular PVC waste with a dishwasher drain connection, and a new quarter-turn PEX shutoff for the dishwasher. The dishwasher had existing electrical, water, and drain connections but would not power on, so we recommended an electrician inspect the home's wiring. The plumbing work was completed successfully and includes a 6-month workmanship warranty.

Roto-Rooter located and exposed the existing water line by hand excavating up to 24 inches deep and 10 feet in length. The leaking section was removed and replaced with new PEX water piping. The repaired line was tested to verify proper operation and confirm the connection was watertight. Upon completion the excavation was properly backfilled and the work area was left neat and orderly.

Roto-Rooter attempted to clear the blockage in the men's bathroom wall-mounted toilet using a toilet auger, but the blockage could not be cleared. Due to the condition of the existing sewer line, hydro jetting was recommended as the best available option. The wall-mounted toilet was removed to access the main sewer line, and the line was hydro jetted. A large amount of paper towels was removed from the sewer line, restoring proper flow.
