No roof space left for solar? ☀️ Build a carport. This customer's electric usage outgrew their existing system and there was no room for a ground mount, so the solar went over the parking instead: shade, protected parking, and more panels.

Unpopular opinion from a solar company: solar isn't the right first move for every home. ☀️

Here's who it fits: a home where the heating and air and the air sealing are already handled, a roof or ground site that works, a design built around your actual usage, and a local team instead of an out-of-state sales script. Jason and Joe Zarn, our solar sales director, give you the honest version.

Power out at 2 AM? Tyrone had questions 🐾 (and a very serious concern about his sump pump).

Your Cummins Whole-Home Standby Generator detects when the power is out, whether you're home, asleep, or out of town. Your furnace, fridge, sump pump and lights keep running. That's the peace of mind.

Atlas Total Home is your local Cummins home standby generator dealer, serving East Central Illinois and West Central Indiana. Call 217-920-6911.

How does a heat pump heat your home in winter? 🔥❄️ It uses refrigerant to pull heat out of the air, so one unit handles both your cooling AND your heating.

Curious whether a heat pump fits your home? We're happy to talk it through.

Closing the vents in rooms you don't use feels like a smart move. Here's why we usually tell folks not to. 🌀

Jason and Joe P., who runs our energy efficiency side, explain what really happens: your heating and air system is designed to condition the whole space, and choking off rooms throws off the pressures and the balance.

Wondering if your system is balanced? Call us at 217-920-6911.
Follow Atlas Total Home for more straight answers about your home, and send this to the person in your house who keeps closing the vents.
