Tyler started BullzEye with a vision to build something of his own after turning his life around.

He wanted to prove to himself that his past didn’t have to determine his future. He wanted to build something with his own hands, create a life he could be proud of, and give his family something they could believe in.

Then life changed.

After losing his brother, Tucker, there were moments when simply getting through the day was probably harder than getting through a job.

But Tyler kept showing up.
He kept answering the phone.
He kept climbing.
He kept cutting.
He kept working.
He kept building.

Not because the grief disappeared. But because life doesn’t stop just because your heart is hurting.

BullzEye has been built through more than hard work. It has been built through loss, sacrifice, perseverance, faith, and the decision to keep moving forward when stopping would have been easier.

Every tree that comes down.
Every long day.
Every late-night estimate.
Every broken machine.
Every difficult season.
Every customer who puts their trust in BullzEye.

It’s all part of something bigger.

Tyler isn’t just building a tree service. He’s building the life he once had to fight to believe was possible.

And maybe that’s what makes BullzEye mean so much more than a business.

It’s a reminder that your past can shape you without defining you. That loss can break your heart without breaking your purpose. And that sometimes, the greatest testimony is simply continuing to build—even when life has given you every reason to stop.

BullzEye is Tyler’s work.
But it’s also part of his testimony. ❤️🌳

International Overdose Awareness Day – In Loving Memory of Tucker Johnson 💜

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day, and for our family at BullzEye Tree Services, this day is deeply personal.

Our owner, Tyler, lost his little brother, Tucker, to an overdose. But Tucker’s story isn’t defined by the way he died.

Tucker was outgoing. He was funny. He was kind, loving, and full of life. He was a son, grandson, friend, and, most importantly to Tyler, his little brother.

Tyler and Tucker grew up doing just about everything together, especially anything that involved being outdoors. And if you knew those two growing up, you probably have a story to tell. Those boys were a handful.

They spent plenty of time getting on their Mom, Dad, and grandparents’ last nerve—getting into something, cutting up, laughing, and probably testing just how much patience one family could possibly have. Those are the memories that remain.

The laughter. The adventures. The trouble they got into together. And the bond between two brothers that even death cannot take away.

As Tucker grew older, life became harder. Addiction became part of his journey, but addiction was never who Tucker was. Behind every overdose statistic is a Tucker.

Someone who laughed.
Someone who had a family.
Someone who was somebody’s little brother.
Someone who was deeply loved.

The CDC estimates that nearly 70,000 Americans died from drug overdoses in 2025. While that number has thankfully been declining, it still represents roughly 192 lives lost every single day.

And every one of those lives leaves people behind who would give anything for one more phone call, one more laugh, one more hug, or one more ordinary day together. For Tyler and his family, Tucker will always be one of those people.

We’re sharing Tucker’s story because there may be someone reading this today who is struggling. Maybe it’s your brother. Maybe it’s your sister, child, parent, or best friend.

Maybe it’s you.

Please know that asking for help isn’t something to be ashamed of. You don’t have to figure everything out today. You just have to take the first step.

Today, we aren’t remembering an overdose. We’re remembering Tucker.

The outgoing, funny, kindhearted little brother who loved the outdoors, loved his family, made people laugh, and helped keep his Mom, Dad, Memaw, Nana, Papa, Aunt, Uncle, and everyone else around him on their toes.

We remember the handful those two boys were. We remember the laughter. We remember the good times. And most of all, we remember the person.

If you have a favorite picture, memory, or story of Tucker, please feel free to share it in the comments. We would love for this to be a place where we can honor him, remember the good times, and celebrate the person he was.

Forever Tucker. Forever loved. Forever missed. LLTUCK 💜

Homeowners have a special talent for saying:

“Yeah… we probably need to do something about that tree.”

…and then waiting three years or until it decides to fall on its own. 😂

If you’ve been putting it off, consider this your sign.

Some days I want to give up… but then I remember I have someone in Heaven I’m still doing this for. He’s got one hell of a view of it all! 🤍

Nobody sees the part of tree work that happens before the chainsaw starts.

They see the tree come down.

They don’t always see the planning behind it.

The conversations about where it can safely fall.
The equipment that has to be positioned perfectly.
The limbs that have to come off in a certain order.
The property that has to be protected.
The weather that has to cooperate.
The hours spent maintaining equipment.
The estimates after a 10-hour workday.
The phone calls that happen after everyone else has gone home.

Tree work isn’t just cutting wood.

It’s experience, planning, patience, communication, and knowing when not to make a cut.

One wrong decision can damage a roof, fence, vehicle, driveway—or worse.

That’s why we take the job seriously.

We’re not trying to be the cheapest guys with a chainsaw.

We’re trying to be the guys you can trust when something needs to come down safely.

A tree can look perfectly healthy from the ground and still have serious problems.

Decay, dead limbs, cracks, root damage, and structural weaknesses aren’t always obvious until it’s too late.

If you have a tree you’ve been questioning—or one you think could potentially cause damage to your home if a bad storm comes through—don’t wait until it becomes an emergency.

And here’s something a lot of homeowners don’t think about: one tree falling can take several others with it. 🌳

A single compromised tree can fall into a cluster, creating a domino effect that brings down multiple trees and potentially causes even more damage to your property.

It happens.

If you’re concerned about a tree on your property, let BullzEye take a look before Mother Nature makes the decision for you.

Built through loss.
Built through faith.
Built through long days and harder nights.

And built with the hope of creating something worth being proud of.

That’s BullzEye.
