Today, we say goodbye to one of our most beloved team members, Dave Albanesi. As the warehouse manager, Dave has been an absolute pillar of our daily operations and our company culture. For years, he has been there for each and every one of us in any capacity, no matter how big or small the ask. He consistently greeted everyone with a genuine smile and the kind of friendly banter that could brighten anyone’s day. Dave, your leadership, warmth and dedication have left a lasting impact on all of us. You will be incredibly missed around the office, but we are so excited for you as you step into your next chapter.

A family-run company based in Danbury that has taken over a shopping plaza on Stony Hill Road plans a $1.5 million upgrade to capitalize on the growth of the mixed-use corridor.

“We want to work with our tenants to keep them but improve the property — the parking lot, the site lighting, the facade, the curbside appeal,” said Antony Rizzo Jr., president of Rizzo Companies, referring to the Mountain Laurel Plaza.

The downside is that the plaza has been undermaintained and allowed to age. The upside is that it’s within a half mile of hundreds of new apartments that have been approved, built or proposed, including the 137-unit complex next door called the Grand at Stony Hill.

🌮 Food Truck Friday!

We are wrapping up the workweek with incredible flavors. Last Friday, our team fueled up with massive burritos and fresh bowls from Taco Bachi Brookfield

Nothing brings people together like sharing a great meal. Events like this remind us that our workplace is more than just desks and deadlines—it is a true community where we connect, share laughs, and grow closer as a team.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined in and to the Taco Bachi Brookfield crew for bringing us together over amazing food!
