“While still at The Landing School, Gabriella secured a spot a bit farther north, at Hodgdon Yachts. The design team is small and collegial, the kind of place where someone with twenty years of experience will still ask what you think.”

Minnesota lakes, an architecture degree, and a question she kept asking strangers about their boats. Gabriella Schmidt, Yacht Design ‘24, first made her way to The Landing School. From there, Hodgdon Yachts came calling before she'd even graduated. Some directions find you slowly, then all at once.
