Swipe. Love. Buy the Room. Playrooms they’ll never want to leave
Coming soon! Here we are today. So that’s what we’re going to do.

Living in the bustling metropolis of D-town, where the temperatures are hot and the housing market is even hotter. Although we currently work two great jobs, one of the many things that we’ve learned through our nine years of marriage is that life is too short not to do what you love—or at least not to attempt to do what you love. There are certain things in life that just come naturally to you and just feel right; you don't mind waking up early to pursue them and when you're doing them, you loose track of time. These are what we call our passions, giftings and talents, and we were designed to be the most fulfilled when pursuing these activities. For Chayce and I, this is activity is home rennovation and it's taken us nearly a decade of life together to finally hone in on what drives us—to take something bland, forgettable, even disgusting and breathe life back into it to create, sometimes from the ground up, something entirely new and beautiful. Just as we've done many times before, we’re leaving behind that which is comfortable, practical and what "makes sense" to leap, once again, into the great unknown. Check back every now and then to see how we're doing; if history has any lessons for us it's that it won't turn out how we think... Cheers!

Playrooms don’t need more stuff. They need more strategy.

The most used spot in the entire playroom! I swear this is where atlas spends the bulk of her time
So a quick reset while she’s at school before it gets destroyed again

Hi 👋

It’s been a minute.

Somewhere along the way, home renovations and interior design turned into raising a fearless, brilliant little girl… and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

But if you’ve been here since the Blank Slate days, you know I’ve always loved creating beautiful spaces.

Five years later, that love has a new home.

Little Recess is where I’ll be designing beautiful playrooms that you can actually recreate. Every room thoughtfully curated. Every product linked.

I hope you’ll follow along as LR comes to life.

Welcome to Little Recess. 🤍
