The peaceful calm before the utter chaos of running equipment to its breaking point for 72 hours straight and some of the guys putting in 30+ hour shifts.

The record snowfall for the Charlotte area was unreal. We were blessed to be able to be able to be a part of keeping 4 different warehouses and distribution centers open and operating.

Now maybe we can have a break in the weather and get back to pushing some dirt.

1 Peter 10-11

Had a long weekend burning up cutting edges on the ice last weekend logging 42 hours straight with 2 skidsteers and a wheel loader. Thank the Lord the only mechanical failures we had were a flat trailer tire and a bad starter in one of the work trucks. Looks like this weekend is going to be even busier with record breaking snowfall in the area! 1 Peter 4: 13-15. Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good? But, even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life.

is Locked and loaded ready to mobilize with our utility crew to a small storm drain rehabilitation project for the city of Lowell.

will be fine grading and setting up subgrade for the asphalt/concrete contractor at our Charlotte Fire Department #30 project.

will be fine grading in Morganton at the North Carolina School of Science and Math getting the job ready for hardscapes.

and will be importing dirt to grade for a new house lot in Stanley.

will be importing dirt for the River District Fire House in Charlotte.

will be backfilling curb and stabilizing the site at the Lincoln County Library Project so we can begin to fill in the temporary sediment basins!

With the wet weather the past few weeks our schedule is beyond backed up. Hopefully with this heat rolling in this week we can get some dry weather and get some stuff knocked out!

Thank you Lord for another full plate! Let’s start this week off strong!!

On 5/28/2018, with the help of a couple good buddies, I completed my first “side job”. It was this day 7 years ago, that the dream of DPG was really put into motion. I just want to take a moment to thank everyone that has helped me and believed in me from the start. My family, my friends, past and present employees, customers and vendors that have believed in the vision. Without you guys DPG would still just be a thought lurking in the back of my mind. With the lessons I’ve learned over the past 7 years, I am excited to see what the next 7 years has to bring us! Keep hammering!
