We’re in the hottest and most stressful part of the season, and one pest we’re keeping a close eye on is CHINCH BUGS! 🐜

Chinch bugs can cause serious damage to your lawn by feeding on the grass and leaving behind yellow, brown, and thinning patches. During extreme summer heat, their damage can spread quickly because your turf is already stressed by heat and drought.

If you opted for preventative Chinch Bug control, that treatment is being applied during Round 5 to help protect your lawn during this critical time.

We’re also continuing to monitor your lawn for w**ds, Armyworms, disease, drought stress, and other potential issues.

💡Summer tip: Keep an eye out for unusual brown or yellow patches in your lawn. If an area continues to decline even with proper watering, it could be a sign of chinch bug activity. Catching the problem early can help prevent further damage.

We’re right in the middle of the toughest part of the lawn season, and Round 5 focuses on helping your turf stay healthy through the heat.

During this application, we concentrate on post-emergent w**d control to remove existing w**ds and keep your lawn looking clean. We also inspect for common summer issues like drought stress, disease, and insect damage.

One pest we pay close attention to during this time is the Chinch Bug.

🐞 What are Chinch Bugs?

Chinch bugs are small insects that damage lawns by feeding on grass blades and injecting a substance that prevents the plant from moving water properly. This causes areas of the lawn to turn yellow, brown, and eventually die if the problem is not addressed.
