A United Airlines Boeing 787-9 arriving from Seoul became the first aircraft to use the newly completed Gate G7 at San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

The turnover marks the second of 12 gates the Austin-Webcor Joint Venture team will deliver as part of the Boarding Area G Project.

Austin’s summer internship program has officially wrapped up, and we couldn’t be more proud of everything our interns accomplished.

Over the past 12 weeks, our interns worked alongside teams across Austin Bridge & Road, Austin Commercial, Austin Industrial, and our corporate office.

Thank you to our interns, mentors and employee-owners who helped make this a memorable summer. We’re excited to see where their paths lead next!

As part of our 2026 internship program, our interns and project teams collected and donated 8,592 food and household items to organizations serving communities across Texas, Arizona, California, and Florida.

More than a friendly competition, the effort reflects our commitment to giving back where we live and work, and we're proud to see our interns already embracing the employee-owner mindset by leading the charge.

Special shoutout to our Austin Commercial Phoenix team for leading the way with 3,807 items collected for Foothills Food Bank.

Austin interns and employee-owners from across DFW recently volunteered at Feed My Starving Children, helping pack 22,032 meals alongside fellow volunteers. Thank you to everyone who gave their time to make a difference in the fight against childhood hunger!

Austin’s young professionals recently spent an evening at Six Flags Over Texas, connecting with fellow employee-owners and taking on some of the park’s biggest thrills.

The outing also coincided with the debut of Tormenta, the world’s tallest, fastest and longest giga dive coaster, featuring a 309-foot drop and speeds up to 87 mph!
