This summer, we're excited to welcome 109 interns across Austin Bridge & Road, Austin Commercial, Austin Industrial, and our corporate teams.

Over the next 12 weeks, they’ll gain hands-on experience, support projects and departments across the company, and work alongside our employee-owners every step of the way. At Austin, interns are treated like part of the team from day one, taking on real responsibility and making meaningful contributions that help move our company forward.

Throughout the week, Austin teams across the country came together to recognize Construction Safety Week and OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction. These observances serve as an important reminder to prioritize safety on our jobsites, in our offices, and in every aspect of our work.

This past weekend, Austin Commercial employee-owners and members of our young professionals group participated in the March for Babies, supporting the March of Dimes mission to help moms have full-term pregnancies and give babies a healthy start.

Austin’s network of young professionals recently teed up for its inaugural golf tournament at Irving Golf Club. With nearly 70 participants ranging from seasoned golfers to first-time players, the event brought employee-owners together for an afternoon focused on connection, fun, and trying something new.

Pictured here is Austin’s work on the DFW Airport Central Terminal Area Expansion, just one of the major design-build projects our teams are delivering every day. The 456,000 square foot scope includes multi-phased demolition, renovation, and new construction, with innovative modular double loaded piers at Terminals A and C.

This week, our team welcomed the NAWIC Houston Chapter 3 for a behind‑the‑scenes look at the University of Houston Centennial Hall project. More than 60 women from across the industry joined us on site, then wrapped up the visit with a mini pancake bar, a bloom bar, and some project‑themed trivia.
