Remembering Cousin Cynthia M. Barnes today who made her transition from this earthly plane to the ancestral on September 11, 2011.

Cynthia was the mother of Chad and Rick Barnes, the daughter of the late Maynor Barnes, Sr., the sister of the late Maynor Barnes, Jr., Carole, Sherry, the late Hal Barnes, and Heather Lou Barnes. Cynthia was a long time kidney transplant survivor before succumbing to illness 14 years ago at age 60.

I had the honor of officiating the homegoing ceremony and eulogizing my beloved cousin. Continue to rest in power!
